The engine runs, but needs work. Possible problems: rod bearing or lifter, no oil
pressure. The mechanic suggests an engine replacement ($2,000 to replace current
engine (350 hp) or $3,000 to install 454 hp, which is what the car is supposed to have).
RESERVE PRICE ($11,000) REFLECTS THIS! Missing driver's side mirror. Parking
brake does not work. Local paint bubbling. From appraiser's report: The paint is in
excellent condition showing a high gloss except for a few blisters... The sporty bucket
seat interior shows little wear with dash and door panels looking factory new with
seat covers added. A non-matching numbers 350 V-8 engine was rebuilt including
all components rebuilt or replaced as needed then detailed with a chrome dress-up
kit added resulting in a work of art performed by the previous owner. New Firestone
Indy 500 black radial tires look to be new and are mounted on the aftermarket Mag
type wheels giving the T-top a racy look.
